All Progressive Congress has replied Winners Chapel via twitter that they are waiting to change Nigeria because the country is already in hell.

They tweet is in response to counter a statement allegedly credited to Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, during President Goodluck Jonathan's visit to his church on Sunday January 25, 2015.

An APC lieutenant replied the multi billionaire cleric that he should open the gates of hell:

"Go and open the gates of hell…We will. enter there and use PVCs to CHANGE the padlock and lock you inside- APC Supporters"

Principal Getting Death Threats For Releasing Buhari’s Results

Barely 24 hours after releasing Gen. Muhammadu Buhari's 1961 West African School Certificate (WASC) results, the Principal of the Government College, Katsina, Mallam Isyaku Bello, has been receiving death threats.

The source of the threats could not be ascertained last night. The principal was summoned by his employers, the Katsina State Ministry of Education, in connection with the release of the results, sources close to Mallam Bello said last night. The embattled principal was said to have explained that he needed to defend the integrity of the college (formerly Provincial Secondary School, Katsina) and
not Gen. Buhari.

Bello made distress calls to his friends and relatives, The Nation learnt. One source said: "Some forces were unhappy with the issuance of results to Gen. Buhari and they have been threatening the principal. They have been calling him names, abusing him. Some were actually threatening to deal with him. "They told the principal that he ought to have left
Buhari to his fate instead of releasing his results.

"Faced with pressure, the principal has reached
out to friends and relatives on the threats. He
explained that he did so to protect the integrity of the college and not anybody's.

"We hope that no harm will come upon the principal, who was just doing his job."

RCCG Member Cuts Off His Penis In Order To Concentrate On His 21 Days Fasting And Prayer.....

According to a post on aquavibes A 27 -year-old man who acclaimed to be a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God had reportedly cut off his penis from his body with a machete in order to concentrate in the ongoing 21 days fasting and prayer programme organized by the church.
The unidentified man who ardently believes that fasting and prayers should be embarked upon with piousness decided to obey the instruction of the Bible that enjoined people to cut off any part of their bodies that will lead them into sin.

 , on Sunday, January 18th , 2015 the man was said to be doing great without food and water but revealed that his manhood was obstructing him from getting more devout to God with its little erections on daily basis.

He said,

His neighbors attacked him thinking he was attempting to perform a ritual until he was able to explain to them what he was doing.

He is currently in one of the hospital in Lagos responding to treatment and hoping that his penis will grow back on his body after the 21 days of fasting and prayers.

He was asked if president Jonathan would congratulate the winner of the forthcoming elections if he (Jonathan) lost, and Adeyeye said yes, he would.

Yesterday, the Presidency, described claims by the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the APC party that the government had concluded to hand over to the military rather than its presidential candidate, Buhari, as mischievous and malicious.

Acording to yesterday''s speech by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, the Presidency said: "Our attention has been drawn to a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mallam Garba Shehu, where he alleged that an official of the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President posted some comments on the social media suggesting that "government will rather hand over power to the military rather than to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari in the event that the APC candidate wins the elections.

"We categorically deny that this statement was ever made by anyone in this office. The APC claim is absolutely false, mischievous and malicious.

"The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs personally handles his Twitter, @doyinokupe and other social media platforms and continues to use such as a legitimate medium of advancing the cause of democratic good governance and institutional integrity which President Goodluck Jonathan represents.
"Dr. Okupe has never and will never associate himself with thoughts or actions which run contrary to the tenets of democracy, rule of law and the right of Nigerians to freely elect those who govern them.

Source disclose that this armed youth disrupting the peace of the area is known to be Scolombo (an occultic group), and they invaded eyoita street and mbukpa precisely. With the aim of robbing any shop, business centre or persons they see around. They robbed a barbing saloon, pork meat seller, beer palour, restaurant business center etc. collecting all there valuables from mobiles phone, cash, and everything you have...

According to one of the victims, they had guns and other weapons that can frighten anybody. The pork meat seller said they spoiled his market for the night by taking his money and purposely throwing his pork on the ground.

The incident did not end here as another source that witness the whole incident from the window of her room posted it on her facebook page briefing how the whole incident went down saying "I no fit shout. Scolombo boys raided my area last night and one of them was caught, killed and burnt.".

She also posted that she was dressed to go out bt can't due to the scolombo boys terrorizing the area. And she also made mention of the affected area in Calabar South LGA "I mean they are in foster str, abua str and ephraim str. people around the neighborhood fear the might return to avenge there member death. And plead for to the government for security tight up in this area.

Unical students revolted against the teachings of Muslim Students Association of Nigeria

The students of Universty of Calabar resident in the Republik of Malabor (students hostel), revolted against the teachings of Muslim Students Association of Nigeria.

The program or seminar which was holding in Malabor Square with about 200 muslim students in attendance, stationed their giants speakers facing each direction of the hostel.

Other students who were in their respective rooms trying to prepare for their upcoming examination and going about with other activities for the weekend were alarmed.

Their anger and revolt was as a result of the continous instigating messages that various speakers in the program were speaking against the Holy Bible and Christianity in general. It got worst when the speakers in the program attacked the much held believe of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and other techings which Christianity holds dear to heart. About 500 students came out to disrupt the program since they could no longer bear the continous 'insult' on Christianity Teachings. It took the intervention of the
school security operatives to calm the angry students down and the program was brought to an end with the protesting students chanting songs of victory.

It should be noted that the Institution is dominated by Christian Students with various fellowships all over the campus.
Some students who spoke out were of the view that 'they should have focused on teachings of Islam instead of attacking other religious belief'.

At the time of this report, none of the SUG Officials could be reached since they where far away in Obudu celebrating the Students' Week.

Ingredients for Afang Soup  *400g sliced Afang leaves |  *about 4 handfuls 250g Water leaves.  *20 - 25 cl Palm oil (about 1 drinking glass)   *Beef, Kanda and Dry fish   *2 tablespoons Crayfish Pepper, Salt and Crayfish    *taste 2 Knorr cubes Notes about the ingredients 1. Great water leaves 2. Yes, you need that much palm oil. :) Before you cook the Afang Soup Preparing To Cook 1. Wash, drain and slice the water leaves into tiny pieces. Grind or pound the sliced afang leaves. In Nigerian markets, the sellers of these sliced afang leaves have a machine for grinding it. You can also grind it with your blender with a small quantity of water. 2. Grind your pepper and crayfish into tiny pieces. COOKING DIRECTION...... 1. Boil the beef and Kanda with the diced onions and stock cubes in a very small quantity of water. When done, add the dry fish and cook for about 5 more minutes. 2. Now add the palm oil, crayfish and pepper. Once it starts boiling, add the afang leaves, water leaves and periwinkle. When the afang leaves have softened and the water has dried up a bit, add salt to taste and leave to simmer for about 5 minutes. The Afang soup is ready! 3. Serve with Garri (Eba), Semolina, FUFU or Pounded Yam. But I preffer eating it with FuFu.....

CRUTECH Strike May Last For More Than 2 Years....

News reaching #voiceofcalabar indicate that A Senate member of the Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH), Professor Edet M. Anam of Chemical Science Department has informed that the two-week old CRUTECH strike may last for more than 2 years if things remain the way they are.

 According to report from #yakurrreporter in a chat interview with Professor Anam who said, "the institution is ready to stand by its striking action until the Cross River State Government meets its demands". For two weeks now, lecturers and other non- academic staff of the institution have been on strike with a tag: "No Pay, No Work" over non-payment of two months' salaries as well as other outstanding allowances. In a reaction, the chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) CRUTECH chapter, Dr. Stephen Ochang, accused the state government of insensitivity to the plight of workers. He said the four industrial unions in the institution wrote to the state gov demanding the payment of salaries and other outstanding allowances owed them, but that nothing was done. He said the demands of the striking workers include release of N500 million for upgrade of facilities and increase in monthly subvention from N169 million to N250 million. Source: Yakurr Reporter

Information has it that popular movie marketer, Film Mark Productions is brutally fighting with top actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie over N2million movie fee.
According to the information gathered, Mercy was paid by the marketer in March last year to star in his movie that kicked-off production in April, but she abandoned the production after for few days and featuring in just few scenes.
It was revealed that when she wanted to leave the movie set, Film Mark refused but she insisted that she was to make Easter meal for her husband and will
return after a day or two, then she left the set, but never returned again till date. It was alleged that everybody on the set stopped working, as they waited for Mercy for 33days, paying hotel bills but she refused to show up. Before people could blink an eye, she travelled to US for her second baby without contacting Film Mark or other producers, who she was allegedly holding their production fee. Immediately Film Mark heard the rumour of her pregnancy with her second child, he reported the case to the Police stations and Mercy was declared wanted.
He insisted that he wanted his money to hire another artiste to continue with his job.
Source also revealed that placing the Dumebi star on ban doesn't hold water, as her first ban was rubbished by producers who cannot resist the profits they make from her movies. As a result, Film Mark resorted to using uniform men to get his money back from Mercy.
Unfortunately, she had already travelled to US to have her second baby. The woman having some friends around shouted thief in calabar "Inor'! Inor'! (Thief! Thief), Unfortunate for the young man, 2 soldiers were passing, they chased and caught him, then they removed his clothes and made him swim inside gutter which had dirty water in it.
After enough beating, koboko and swimming in the gutter, the woman money re-appeared back.

INEC Sack workers for stealing PVC cards

The recent information contained in the INEC's bulletin released in Abuja earlier today, Thursday says that the Independent National Electoral Commission has dismissed two of its officers for alleged theft of Permanent Voter Cards in its Patani Local Government Area office, Delta State.
The dismissed officers are Mr. Collins Omofoma (SGL 09 Officer) and Mr. Onome Avbunudiogba (SGL 07 Officer).

Also, the commission said it had terminated the appointment of Mrs. Obi Chinwoke Ugochi, an Administrative Officer II (SGL 08) for alleged absence from duty without permission. Ugochi is of the commission's Anambra State office.

According to two Decision Extracts, dated January 8, 2015 and signed by the Director (Commission's Secretariat), Ishiaku Gali, the dismissal and termination of appointments of the three officers followed the commission's meeting of Thursday, January 8, 2015. Meanwhile, the Benue State Police Command on Thursday intercepted a truck loaded with electoral materials in Gboko, Gboko Local Government Area of the state. The command's spokesman, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, John Bako, confirmed the interception to one of our correspondents on the telephone.

He however said, "The people were intercepted by our men this morning (Thursday) and taken to custody and after a thorough investigation, it was discovered that the electoral materials were for the Benue State Independent Electoral Commission. "The BESIEC official had the permission letter from one of the directors of the Commission to go round the state and gather electoral materials from the last local government election."

It was reported and gathered that several people besieged the place and would have taken laws into their hands had the Police not acted swiftly.

APC Using Osinbajo to Mask Buhari's Religious Bias - RCCG Pastor

Pastor Bribena Efiye of the Redeemed Christian church of God (RCCG) has, in interview with the DailySun newspaper, stated that APC choose Osinbajo as their vice-presidential flag bearer to give the illusion that Pastor E.A. Adeboye, G.O. of RCCG is supporting Buhari's election bid.
"As a pastor in the RCCG, I will not vote for Buhari simply because he has picked Osinbajo as his running mate," Efiye said emphatically.

"One can see the APC trying to launder the image of someone who has consistently allied himself to religious fundamentalism," he continued. "A case in point is Buhari's utterances in the run up to the 2011 general elections where he categorically said that Muslims should not vote for Christians and that Northerners should not vote for a Southerner.

"That, for me, is a very serious issue. So, the fact that Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who is a pastor in the RCCG, was picked as his running mate does not take care of that issue. Rather, it makes one to believe that picking Osinbajo is a deliberate attempt to launder Buhari's image. APC is only trying to pull wool over the eyes of the Nigerian electorate…"

"The propaganda machinery of APC is only trying to create the impression that the GO of the RCCG and the Church have backed Buhari because he picked Osinbajo as his running mate. There is nothing that is further from the truth… The G.O. has made it clear that he is father of everybody because he has children in both PDP and APC."

Governor of Cross River State Honors Fallen Heroes!! : Armed Forces Remembrance Day 2015

The Cross River State government marked the 2015 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Calabar with the laying of the memorial wreath by the state governor, Senator Liyel Imoke.

The Armed Forces Day, also known as Remembrance Day, and it is  celebrated on 15th of January in Nigeria to honor the soldiers who lost their lives during Nigeria’s civil war.

It was previously celebrated on 11 November of every year to coincide with the Remembrance Day for the World War II veterans in the British Commonwealth of Nations.

But it was changed to 15th of January in Nigeria in commemoration of the surrender of Biafran troops to the Federal troops on 15 January 1970, thus concluding the Nigerian Civil War that sought to tear apart the unity of the country.
