JEDY-AGBA SAYS HE WON’T DECAMP, PROMISES TO JOIN FORCES WITH BEN AYADE

Prince Jedy-Agba, the tipped winner of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) guber primaries in the state has confirmed to ‘top men of the media’ (the TM of the M), www.crossriverwatch.com and www.calitown.com that he will remain in PDP despite pressures all around pushing him to decamp so as to get a ticket to play in next year’s general elections.

Jedy said this in the early hours of today at Calcon Hotel, Calabar in a telephone call with the ‘top men of the media’ (TM of the M) few minutes after Prof. Sen. Ben Ayade finished his own discuss with same men (the ‘TM of the M’).

Whereas political watchers are gazing and contemplating to hear that Jedy has instituted a suit against the result or better, Jedy has decamped to another political party, the principal said himself and Ayade have committed to working together for the interest of peace in the state.

On his part, Prof. Sen. Benedict Ayade said that he was humbled and fortuitous when Jedy-Agba called him and congratulated him promising to join forces with him in the elections.

“Me and Goddy spoke this morning and he amazed me with his brotherhood talk. He said it is God that gives power. He said he asked for the position, I also asked for it but God choose only one of us and he is even going to put his resources together and work with me to make the process a success… He also insists I should not listen to any blackmail or gossip, he is not going to court, he is not going to another party, he is working to making sure that we succeed,” Ayada said on phone.

As for Jedy-Agba frontiers, Ben Ayade said they have all called and congratulated him: “Florence Ita-Giwa has called in to congratulate me, Donald Duke has sent me a congratulatory text, Bassey Otu, and Gershom Bassey,” Ayade said.
